Introducing Providence Flooring: Family-Owned Flooring for the South Jersey Shore

There's a new name in flooring along the South Jersey shore, and we wanted to properly introduce ourselves. Providence Flooring is a family-owned flooring installation company based right here in Egg Harbor Township, founded by Ryan Soldano - a guy who's been swinging a hammer and laying floors since he was a teenager. We're not a national chain with a call center in another state. We're your neighbors, and we're here to bring honest pricing and real craftsmanship to every home from the mainland out to the barrier islands.

Why We Started Providence Flooring

Ryan grew up around job sites. Long before he ever pulled a permit or wrote an estimate, he was learning the trade hands-on - measuring twice, respecting a subfloor, and understanding that a floor is one of the few home improvements a family actually touches every single day. After years of building that experience in carpentry and construction, starting Providence Flooring in 2026 was less a leap and more the obvious next step: build a company around doing the job right, treating customers like neighbors (because, often, they are), and never letting a quote turn into a bait-and-switch.

That last part matters more than people realize. Too many homeowners along the shore have a story about a flooring "deal" that ballooned once the crew showed up. We built Providence Flooring specifically to be the alternative - transparent, written, itemized estimates before a single plank is cut.

What We Install

We keep our focus tight so we can be excellent at it, rather than mediocre at everything. Providence Flooring installs four categories of flooring:

• Carpet - plush, low-pile, and carpet tiles for bedrooms, family rooms, and finished basements.
• Hardwood flooring - both real solid hardwood and engineered hardwood for classic, resale-boosting looks.
• Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) - our most requested product down the shore thanks to its water and humidity resistance.
• Laminate flooring - an affordable, durable wood-look option for busy households.

We also handle the details that make a floor feel finished, like carpet stairs, hardwood stairs, and vinyl flooring stairs - the transitions and edge work that separates a professional install from a weekend DIY project.
